The much-vaunted checkerboard of the green fields of western Ireland or the endless rows of olive trees in Andalusia or the rows of oil palms in the tropics arouse in us revulsion, panic, terror. We love the mist in the wild forests and the unbridled nature. We would like to help preserve it. Conscious consumption of production from small forest polycultures is one way.
