I started using Free Shipping, but decided it is not correct terminology. Shipping isn’t free. I would really like to be able to use Shipping Included, as it is up front and clear. There is also a problem with the Federal Trade Commission to use Free Shipping; they say it is illegal and false advertising.
Since I am new and don’t find the question here, is this something Bonanza is considering or will consider?

I never heard of the FTC having issues with ‘free’ shipping before (but I live under a rock).
The awful truth is that just like Sex sells, so does the word FREE, even if it is free squid. People have gotten into such a mindset that if shipping is NOT free, they don’t want it. Most have seemed to forgotten that is is not free and somebody is paying for it. Mind you that there may be some that are printing postage at work so the company is paying for it (and they are not) but it still is not FREE.
Even on the book selling site (AMZ), people think they are getting shipping free but they seem to forget that they paid for a yearly subscription to PRIME (I think it is $119.00 now) for their ‘free’ shipping but what that site is actually doing is then making sure you COME BACK to them (and only them) because you are getting ‘free’ shipping when if fact, you ‘might’ be able to find your widget cheaper elsewhere ( like here on Bonanza ), but then of course the ‘free’ is drawing you to AMZ like bugs to a light. They are guaranteeing MANY Return Sales to their site until you make up enough in ‘free’ shipping to actually come out ahead of the $119.00 (per YEAR) and then it starts all over again. Crafty little gimmick.
I too like to see the term “shipping included” but frankly, without the word FREE, it may not fly as well as people probably put in ‘free’ in their searches of items so ‘shipping included’ may never get views. Just my opinion (from under that Rock).
Best of luck with your sales here.

I don’t think the FTC is concerned about the use of the term FREE SHIPPING, as long as it is not deceptive in any way. Basically, the customer understands that there are no additional charges beyond what is provided (except sales taxes, of course).

Guide Concerning Use of the Word “Free” and Similar Representations
16 CFR Part 251
RULE [URL removed]
The offer of “Free” merchandise or service is a promotional device frequently used to attract customers. When making “Free” or similar offers all of the terms and conditions upon which one can receive and retain the “Free” item should be set forth clearly and conspicuously at the outset of the offer so as to leave no reasonable probability that the terms of the offer might be misunderstood.

People are stupid. It won’t matter how it’s worded all they’ll care about is that they don’t have to pay it.
I’m assuming this is actually to do with returns & refunds isn’t it?

It depends on the seller. Look at the seller reputation and feedback before purchasing. I have not had any problems.Install applinked apk on Android devices to install movie streaming apps
