What is the vote up or vote down in handpicked list comments

I noticed that comments made on a handpicked list include a "vote up" or "vote down" option. What is the purpose of these options, or what happens if I click on one of them?

Is there an option for a free booth here on bonanza

I was under the impression that there was no monthly fee to open a booth here on Bonanza, however, when I go to open my Booth it goes straight to a 14-day trial or the monthly/annual payment option. Is there no free option ?, anyone help please.

I have an item that fits 2 categories equally well. Can I list in more than 1 category and if so, how do I do this? I didn't see any option for listing in more than 1 category. Thanks in advance for any help I can get, I'm just learning Bonanza...
