Hand Picked List: Oprah's Book Club

I must confess I haven’t read any of them. There are many in this list that strike my interest. I don’t think I’ve seen a book list like this featured before. Nice!

@AudiLee Thank you. I’ve been making more lists now that Bozo’s using more of the ones we make.
I’ve read only a few of them. Maybe next year my Resolution will be to read only the books on this list.

Great idea for a list. I will have to check out a few of them, thanks for the suggestions.

@Starfisher: Thank you. I use to work in a bookstore (this was my pre-internet days), I had a good idea of putting all Oprah’s Book Club books in 1 section of the store.

I went to the library and printed off the books up until that year. This was also when Oprah still had her talk show.

We sold a lot more books that way.

@VintageVarietyShop : I’ve only read a few of them, and most were incidental ~I didn’t know they were on The List.

I’m going to start reading ONLY these books. I think I’ll do audio. I can’t sit still long enough to read a book

I love books – can’t even remember the last one I read it’s been so long, unfortunately. (I refuse to e-read..it’s just not the same) Good list…wrote a few down in hopes I can carve out some time

Now it’s down to 81.

I tried to get ALL the books, but there was maybe about 4 that weren’t available on Bozo.

It took a LONG time to make the list. I’m glad it made it on Home Page.

@PassingItOn: Thank you. I’m planning on reading these books for my net New Yeats Resolution, though I’m probably going to start on it this year.

10 items have ‘disappeared’ from this list.

Did they sell? Did the seller remove them from their booth?
Not sure.
