I am not an expert of any kind of pottery but I will describe this bowl the best I can. 

The bowl is handmade with the makers mark but unfortunately I am not able to decipher what it reads.  It is handmade pottery with brown clay and has an overglaze finish.  The finish is in excellent condition showing no wear and glossy yet.  The color is grey, blue, and light brown mixture.  This bowl would probably be used as a fruit, candy, or anything you want.  It looks very country, contemporary in style.  You can see the dimension in the clay.  I believe the finish is an overglaze.   There is also a speckled splash over the glaze.  There is a brown and blue circle going around on the inside with blue and brown square design under that circle.  I believe the photos will show you all the beautiful detail in it.

The bowl measures a little over 7 inches in diameter x 2 inches tall
