Mounted original tissue-guarded sepia-toned photograph of author as a frontispiece.

A collection of poetry from the American author Francis Mores Adlington (1789-1884), printed just after he died. He was a member of the Temperance Movement, and wrote hymns for them.

Edited, with a forward by Amey M. Hillyer, his daughter.
