A very nearly fine, bright copy with just a whisper of edge wear. This copy bears a long poetic inscription, SIGNED by the author. The inscription is "A Warning!" to Mrs. & Mr. E.D. Brooks, that the book "might lead your son astray." Edmund D. Brooks was a turn-of-the-century Minneapolis publisher. 12mo. (5" by 7") 166 pages. Juvenile chapter book featuring the mis-adventures of a group of boys with marginal drawings by illustrator Ruth Mary Hallock (1876-1945) on nearly every page.
