Comments: Edwin "Ed" Bottomley Hay was born January 16, 1856 in Raymond, Wisconsin and died October 10, 1899 in Kensington, Kansas. He was the son of John Hay and Hannah Bottomley Hay. He was married to Ella Hazlett in 1880. Ella was born in 1862 and died in 1888 in Kensington, Kansas. She was the daughter of Cyrus S. Hazlett (b. 1834 in Pennsylvania) and Mary Ann Doane (b. October 11, 1833 in Canada). The children of Edwin and Ella included Raymond Winfield Hay, Frank Bertram Hay, and Edna May Hay. Edwin then married Lena Mae Stippick (1863-1896) in 1893. Additional Comments: The photo(s) in this listing were removed from a set of three antique albums originally belonging to Newton Henry Bottomley (1880-1967) and his wife Edna May Hay (1887-1976) who lived in Price, Wisconsin. Many of the other album photos, which are sold separately, were taken in Racine Co. Wisconsin and included Bottomley and related families Sheard, Gooder, Hay, Burns, Skewes, and Hoyt.
