Vintage original 8x10 in. US single-weight glossy keybook photograph from the classic 1930's comedy, THE SHEIK STEPS OUT, released in 1937 by Republic Pictures and directed by Irving Pichel. In this comedy, a wealthy sheik (Ramon Novarro) kidnaps and falls for a snobby socialite (Lola Lane). The cast includes Gene Lockhart, Kathleen Burke, Stanley Fields, Billy Bevan, Charlotte Treadway, and Robert Coote.

Then image features a beautiful close shot of handsome Sheik Ahmed Ben Nesib (Ramon Novarro) with pretty Phyllis "Flip" Murdock (Lola Lane). Affixed to the verso is a paper snipe with the film's original title of She Didn't Want a Sheik. It is in very fine- condition with a two-hole punch along the left edge of the background area and some small scratches simply from handling over time. There are no pinholes, tears, stains, creases, writing, or other flaws.

The Sheik Steps Out was a low-budget attempt to revive the career of former silent film star Ramon Novarro, which cast him in a role satirizing his former rival for the title of "Latin Lover," Rudolph Valentino.
