The lamp is an old style little dressing table lamp.  It is white with hand painted pink rose buds.  The accents are in gold.  It will take one of the new energy efficient bulbs as it is just an on and off turn switch.  The plug is not polarized which would prompt me to rewire the lamp for use in perhaps a little girl's bedroom although the plug is in good condition.  This lamp would be a great transition from the typical little girl themes to a more sophisticated theme with pink accents.  The saucer like base sits almost an inch off the table and has a repeat of scalloping around the brim.  The globe also is scalloped on the top edge.  The lamp is nine inches tall. It has no chips or cracks.
