Vintage original 8x10 in. US glossy color photograph from the classic 1970's mystery thriller, SEE NO EVIL, released in 1971 by Columbia Pictures and directed by Richard Fleischer. Sarah (Mia Farrow) is a blind girl who has returned to her home, a country manor, in which all of the occupants are dead. She unknowingly sleeps overnight among a houseful of corpses, arising the next morning to quietly creep out of bed, in order not to awaken the other members of the household. She is then pursued by a maniac while still in the house. The cast includes Dorothy Alison, Robin Bailey, Diane Grayson, Brian Rawlinson, and Norman Eshley.
As indicated in the lower right corner, this is photograph #7 from the set of color photos. The image features a scene of Sarah (Mia Farrow), a young blind woman, as she kneels to retrieve a spoon that she dropped on the floor, which is right next to a pool of blood while the body of a murdered woman sits nearby in a chair, all of which she is unaware of. It is in very fine conditon without any pinholes, tears, creases, stains, writing, or other flaws.
Based on the film's conceit of showing the killer solely in close-up from the legs down, his identity is concealed by having all possible suspects filmed only from the waist up in all medium and long shots. |
