Still in ORIGINAL SHRINK-WRAP (opened). Vinyl plays nicely; a few light hairlines (play-graded). Cover looks great; a couple creases near edges; surface abrasions where shrink is torn in places and no scuffing (front/back). Inner-sleeve is original (lyrics/credits); seams partially split. Spine is easy-to-read with mild-wear. Shelf-wear along top/bottom-edge and corners. Opening is crisp with signs of some use and divots. (Notch in bottom-right.)
Re-ac-tor is fierce Young and the Horse album, although it doesn't have the spook, as the late producer David Briggs used to say about Neil's records with the Horse. Still, it's quite an intense listen, as in places the music is so powerful and out of key it's almost punk-like. The lyrics are fairly minimal, but the music drowns them out anyway. While it doesn't have the "spook", it does have an intensity and rawness that defines Young's Horse collaborations. Key tracks are Opera Star, Surfer Joe And Moe The Sleaze, and Southern Pacific.
