This little seat or stool is very old. It has gray paint on it that is peeling somewhat revealing a dark wood. It has one damaged spot which is shown in 2 photos. It has a few tiny nails. It is put together with wood pegs primarily. I have been using it as a step stool because it is low to the ground, but would be perfect for a little one to have their own little bench or seat. It is 6 1/2 inches tall. The top is 6 1/4 inches deep and about 13 inches wide. It has been in a smoke free environment. We live in an area where there have been amish wood crafters, but I don't know how or where this piece originated. My grandson loves to sit on it, stand on it, stack blocks on it, and get to things he shouldn't, but it is great in the bathroom for a little stool. The sides are not necessarily smooth.
