SOCRATES, released in 1935 by Warner Bros. and directed by William Dieterle, in which a small-town doctor gets roped into helping a notorious bank robber.

The image depicts an interior shot at a soda fountain of Dr. Lee Cardwell (Paul Muni) as he looks deep in thought. Also included with this vintage original photograph is a b&w 35mm film strip on Kodak Safety Film 5062 stock with 3 identical negative images of this photograph. The photograph is in very good- condition only as shown with several large diagonal creases through Muni's image and the 35mm film strip is in very fine condition.
