Mens T Shirt Size L Carlos O'Brians Puerto Vallarta S/L Tank Top + 5 Matchbooks.

This vintage, sleeveless t-shirt was purchased in the 1980s at the original Carlos O'Brian's Bar and Grill in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico as a souvenir. The shirt was meant to be worn but never was, so the sales tag is missing. The shirt has a logo design on the front in green/black/red on a white, 100% cotton tank top shirt. The shirt front reads "Carlos O'Brian's Bar and Grill Since 1800 P.V. Puerto Vallarta, All Mexican Stock, Number 20356. The sewn in tag, by Vatch Club, states "Hand Wash Cold Water, Tumble Dry, Do Not Bleach, Hand Printed, Made in Mexico". It is definitely a size "Large" which fits chest sizes 38 through 42, though the original tag is no longer there but was purchased for someone who only wears a Large. The shirt shows a little shelf wear (slight imperfections may show up if scrutinized), because the t-shirt was folded and other clothes were placed on top of it at times. No major defects and shirt is perfectly wearable. Here is your chance to own a piece of Puerto Vallarta history---Carlos Obriens no longer exists! Stored in a cool dry place. Comes from a smoke-free/pet-free home.

Laying flat, the shirt measures: 18" across from pit to pit; 25-1/2" long from top of shirt to bottom of shirt; and 11-1/2" arm opening.

Carlos O'Brians closed/was sold in January 2009. This coveted Puerto Vallarta downtown spot is now occupied by nightclub-bar-restaurant Punto V. Carlos O' Brian's was a "not to be missed place" for at least one night of fun. If you ever wanted to dance on tables or up the walls, this was the place! It even gave you a receipt for a Jello-shot. Great fun during the day, and a good Happy Hour too. It featured "bleachers" lining the walls, and everyone stood up and danced, even on the table tops. Staff did the line dancing and tricks. One had to get there early for "prime seating and dancing bleacher areas" but the place really started to get busy after 11 p.m. Everyone who went there had so much fun! Despite the crowds, the service was good. You could climb a ladder to the second floor and just "be wild and crazy" or people watch for fun. It was a great place to go if you were traveling alone or with a group. A "Puerto Vallarta" must see and do.
