About US:  Welcome to Campbellfilms. We are a small American family business, started by a father & son that collect old films. Our goal is to save old films from the trash heap and digitize them in HD for future generations. The Son went to film school and the father is passionate about history and assembles the content. The result is why folks comment positively on the "Quality and Content" of our old films transferred on our DVD's. Although we are not Hollywood, we think that you'll like these old historic films!

Please note;  Buy 2 or more of any of our DVD's per order from our collection, and we will add a free DVD along with this order of similar topic.

What's on this DVD: Yosemite National Park

This DVD is a collection very RARE and fun footage Yosemite National Park. We are very excited about this DVD because Yosemite is one of our most favorite places on the planet. We collect old films and this is a DVD that has some very rare footage of Yosemite from the 1930's to the 1940’s. If you love Yosemite, you'll appreciate these old films.

1st Film: "History of Yosemite". This film was made around 1940, and it’s one of the first films in color about Yosemite and how Yosemite was formed through the ice ages. The film starts off with entering Yosemite through the tunnel. Following the exit, hope you notice at the viewpoint that there are no trees in the way… Today, the trees have really grown in front of the safety wall and block that view -  what a difference 70 years makes, right? Check out all of the features Yosemite had in the 1940's. Runtime 17:48 Min's

2nd Film: "July 4th 1932 with Betty and Ben". This is a fun old film! This film was done semi-professionally and features a lot of great footage of Yosemite! Shows all of the falls - Yosemite Falls, Nevada Falls, Ribbon Falls, Citadel Falls, Bridal-veil Falls, and more! On top of that, we go along a trip with a very fun couple known as "Betty and Ben". We follow them as they swim and feed animals (deer, squirrels, and bears), unfortunately that is all illegal today. They also visit different parts of Yosemite. It is obvious that these two liked each other and they really enjoyed Yosemite, captured here in this film. Sound Track added by us. Runtime 10:04 Min's.

3rd Film: "Waters of Yosemite". This is a film on the Waters of Yosemite. Part of the footage shows the famous "Water Wheel" area. Wow! Really fun to see! Runtime 9:16 Min's.

4th Film: "4 Seasons of Yosemite". This is a film about the four seasons of Yosemite. Winter, Spring, Summer, and Fall. Great to see. Runtime 10:47 Min's

5th Film: "Castle film Yosemite". This is a great film on the activity in Yosemite throughout the 1940s. It shows Mirror Lake, Yosemite Falls, Badger Pass, Inspiration point in winter and summer, Cross-country skiing, feeding bears, The Ahwahnee Hotel, and more. Runtime 9:47 Min's

6th film: "Yosemite Newsreels". This is a collection of 6 newsreels on Yosemite National Parks. Typical old footage of Yosemite featuring some really rare stuff, such as a film where four people are climbing the twin peaks during 1920’s and 1930's. When you think about it, this is very scary stuff considering they just had old ropes around their waists. Rock climbing has really come a long way since then. Also features a camping experience in Yosemite Valley. Amazing footage!!! Runtime 9:01 Min

7th Film: "Sky to Yosemite". The United Airlines created this wonderful old color film showing highlights of Yosemite that was to offer back in the 50's. This film ends with the renowned Yosemite Fire-falls footage from Curry Village. Very Rare!  Runtime 28:25 Min's
