Vintage original 8 x 10 in. US single-weight glossy photograph from the 1960s Walt Disney Productions sci-fi comedy, THE MISADVENTURES OF MERLIN JONES, released in 1964 by Buena Vista Distribution Co. and directed by Robert Stevenson. Merlin Jones, resident genius at Midvale College, inadvertently gets into a string of scrapes, both in college and with the law-much to the distress of his long-suffering girlfriend and the local district judge.

The image depicts a close interior shot of Merlin Jones (Tommy Kirk). Affixed to the verso is the original paper snipe that describes the image and a date stamp of WED MAY 13 1964, when it was acquired by a newspaper for publication. It is in near-fine condition as shown with a vertical area of waviness down the center from where the snipe is affixed to the verso.
