Leary's Book Store was right next to Gimbel's on Ninth Street in Philadelphia PA. They were in business from 1850 until 1967 and known as the oldest book store in its day. They used "The Book Worm" painting on their receipts and advertising and for their 100th anniversary issued a commemorative print. The print was in glassine until today when I removed the remnants of it. It had been posted on a wall I believe because there are little holes on each corner and the middle of the top and bottom where someone placed push pins or thumb tacks. If I were going to frame it the frame would hide them and even more so if a mat were used--which I would do. It is in very nice shape and not faded. It has been in a smoke free home. It measures about 9 x 11 from edge to edge.
