The author, Captain Pete Caesar, was a prolific author and researcher of shipwrecks, primarily dealing with Great Lakes wrecks of which he wrote over 30 books, but he also wrote books on both Titanic and Lusitania. All his books were self-published and produced in short runs of less than 100 books, which he sold in person at shows.
