This is a absolutely adorable Vintage Avon American Heirloom Doll Collection piece from 1981. She is approx 11 inches tall and is Brand New. Only removed from the box for the photos but she is still sealed in her original wrapping. While the delight of collecting stuffed dolls remains timeless, those made with ceramic heads in the 18th and 19th centuries are especially prized. Avon has created its own porcelain head doll with full skirted figure delicately fragranced with lavender scented sachet. Reminiscent of the beautiful hand painted ceramic dolls that were brought from Europe and were cherished by the children of the new settlers. This piece was inspired by antique pieces that would have been found in early American homes. I am the original owner of this doll and she has been carefully stored since purchase.
