This is a decorative plate, made in Canada by Creemore China, commemorating the birth in 1982 of Prince William Arthur Phillip Louis, heir to the British throne on June 21st, 1982 to the Princess of Wales Diana, and Charles, Prince of Wales.  The 8 inch diameter plate was used for display only without any visible damage.
