This is a set of three vintage ruby red glass birds I came across at a recent Estate Sale. I don’t think they were originally a set, but they just looked like they belonged together. They are all in excellent condition. I’m not an expert on glass, so I can’t say who the maker is. I could not see any obvious marks. I’m sure there are people out there who will know. The small birds are obviously hand blown (you can see at the ends of the tails and the beaks). The large bird measures approximately 2 ¼” tall and 3” long. This larger bird is a deep dark red with lighter red where the glass is thinner on the tail and the wings. The two small birds measure approximately 1 ½” tall and 1 ¾” long. They are also a beautiful red color with orange-yellow at the beak and tail ends. Quite pretty out in the sunlight.
