This antique Chinese wooden candy/cookie/cake mold is hand carved from two sides. One side is carved with traditional Chinese "Fish and Fan" design. The other side is carved with "Bird and Calabash" design. The carving for this mold is very intricate. Made from dark hardwood, this mold has been kept in excellent condition. In old China, cake mold was a popular household item and considered as family heritage to pass down from generation to generation. Circa late of 19th century.
