This cocktail/seafood or pickle fork (I'm not sure which is the correct term) is marked on the back Oxford Silver Plate Co. which was later acquired by Oneida. Once Oneida acquired the company, this pattern was never produced again. The back is stamped Pat. Jan 14, 08 (January 14, 1908). It is the Narcissus Pattern, which was a very striking and ornate Art Nouveau style floral design. This repousse relief flower pattern was produced at the turn of the century starting in 1908, it was a beautiful design of that era. It measures just over 6 ¼ inches in length.
This is in very good antique condition as you can see by the enlarged pictures. It still has a shiny plate on most of the fork, although it could use a good polishing, but I will leave that up to you. I don't know if it will polish up like new or not. There are tiny fine surface scratches that you would expect on a piece that had been used, but you only see them with magnification (you can look in the photos for the details).
If you are looking to add to your set or to replace a missing piece, this is your chance. There is no monogram, so it will fit right in with your set. I'm not sure why my Mom had it with her set, it doesn't match anything else she had.
