For your consideration is an antique Mappin Webb round 3 piece vegetable serving dish.  This dish is triple deposit plate, Princes Plate.  It is model W2943.  I believe this piece to be around 1920.  It has 3 ball feet on the bottom with handles that have a leaf look where they attach, then the insert fits over the top of that leaving room for hot water below.  The top has a removable handle.  The handle is very unusual looking as it keep looking like a snake or lizard head where it attaches.  Lid fits nicely.  There are some scratches on the piece from use, but its almost 100 years old now. I think you could buff out the scratches as they are not deep.  Measures 9 1/2" outside to outside and 11" handle to handle outside.  It is 4 3/4" tall to top of handle and with feet.  Inside serving area is about 2" deep.  Great for any table.  Serve those vegetables with style.   This is a heavy piece weighing almost 4 pounds by itself.  Quality silverplate.
