Soft as a watercolor, this box features delicate purple violets with leaf and stems

in a field of pastels. 

The lid has one large panel of flowers and the body has 4 additional panels of violets on the diamond shaped box,  with each floral a different design

Soft matte finish coordinates beautifully with the subject matter and almost translucent painting

The gold on the outer rim of the lid and on the 4 toes is 95% present or better

Signed above one toe is B Hawkins

This is reminiscent of Bavarian or French Limoges Style although I am not sure which

 Measures 6 1/2 long x 4 7/8" wide x just under 3" tall
