A small ornamental tropical evergreen tree with a furrowed trunk and branches that spread out in a canopy, accented by bright green leaves that grow long and narrow. Winter hardy in tropical zones 10 - 11 but will be easily grown as a container tropical plant in colder climates if given warmth and bright light. Makes a unique conversation piece and a striking tropical ornamental flowering tree that should be considered perfect as a specimen and a terrific choice for bonsai. Throughout the year the tree will put on a brilliant display of yellow flower clusters.
