Antique bank check dated November 10, 104 and made out in the amount of 150 Kroner. An english transation of some of the printed text on the check reads, "Stamp amount in Crown Currency = 150 Kronen. Applies according to Scala I for bills up to and including 150 K with a maximum term of six months." Measures approximately 11.75 x 4.5. Condition: This is an original foreign bank check, not a copy or reproduction. It is vertically folded in half, and in very good condition. Comments: The krone is the official currency of Denmark, Norway, Greenland, and the Faroe Islands, introduced on 1 January 1875. Both the ISO code "DKK" and currency sign "kr." are in common use; the former precedes the value, the latter in some contexts follows it.
