GOLD PROMO stamp on front. Vinyl plays nicely, except for brief light-clicks near beginning of side 1 (play-graded). 12" Single. Cover looks great, a few creases near edges; light scuffing (front/back); tiny surface abrasions on front near center right and back has slight discoloration. Inner-sleeve is original (plastic with EB logo). Spine is unbroken, clean and easy-to-read. Little shelf-wear along top/bottom-edge and corners. Opening is crisp with signs of light use and divots. (Not a cut-out.)
Lined Up was one of Shriekback's better-known songs from their album Care. This record also includes Hapax Legomena, a song that was on the UK version of Care, but not the US version. Lined Up peaked at No. 3 on the UK Independent Singles Chart. The English rock band's early music was a funk-influenced version of new wave and post-punk, later moving towards art rock and always featuring "insidiously weird vocals". Shriekback are still actively producing music.
