This is an estate item that is 100% functional. There is a spotty brass finish (please see photos for best description).

This entire lamp is made of a highly magnetic metal (patina brushed steel most likely), it is not brass or bronze. This piece stands 19 1/2" tall (at the top of finial). The shade measures 10 1/4" across the bottom, and 7 1/4" across the top rim. The lamp weighs 4 lb 12 oz
