This cast aluminum underplate is a Guardian Service piece. It is the underplate, or drip saucer for the gravy boat. Oval in shape, it measures approximately 9 inches long, and 5 OE inches at the widest point. There is moderate wear and discoloration in places on the piece. Its dates from between the 1940s - 1960s.
