This collection of four vintage magazines contain not only detailed recipes with photographs, but have excellent articles about landscaping, home design, interior design, menu planning, and numerous informative articles on everything for home-life planning including entertainment, children, money saving, quality of foods, cleaning, question-and-answers, and more. The December 1931 issue focuses on Holiday and Christmas recipes; the August-Sept 1936 issue has lovely articles on Wells in garden landscaping with numerous photographs; Aug-Sept 1934 has articles on fireplaces with photographs; and Aug-Sept 1931 has an article on Mexican breads and on a 'dream kitchen'. Each one of these issues is chock-full of fascinating food facts, special recipes, and charming advertisements of gadgets for food, kitchen, and home use. All four issues are perfect-bound with plain spines. Dec '31 & Aug-Sept 1934 have mild chipping to the lower spine ends, Aug-Sept '31 and '34 have mild creases to the lower cover corners, all three issues except Dec 31 are very good plus; Dec 31 has a minor thumb-print stain to lower cover edge, mild wear to the spine, some small uniform chipping from the upper page fore-edges, else good and quite sound.
