Brand NEW!

Providing up to +26 dB of clean, low-noise gain, the MPA-149 from Hosa is an in-line active mic preamp that sits between your microphone and cable to improve audio quality. Utilizing discrete, Class-A FET circuitry, the MPA-149 can add plenty of headroom for low-output microphones such as dynamic and passive ribbon mics without introducing extra noise.

The MPA-149 is simple to use with a female 3-pin XLR input and male 3-pin XLR output, and the all-metal housing is designed to perform reliably in any environment. This active preamp is powered by 48V phantom power, which is commonly provided by mixers, consoles, interfaces, or external preamps, and does not pass phantom power to your passive microphones.
