External binding is moderately worn at the edges and corners with some sun-tanning to the spine and head of the front board, an ex-lib from the Gloucester, VA Library w/bookplate of Sallie Fisher on front paste-down and Gloucester Public Library ink stamp to front free fly-leaf, check out card pocket has been removed on rear paste-down with resultant residue still present. (Not sticky, presumably removed many years ago.) Despite its rather weathered exterior – the book has never been read. Its pages are all uncut! 

An examination of the life and works of the great and gifted pre-Raphaelite artist and poet. A much-reprinted work; this is the original, one in a series of books known as the “Great Writers”.
