Description
This is a chic vintage 60s winter swing coat by Forstmann.
It also has a Famous Barr label.
Also, a "Hand Tailored" label.
There is also a Union label, which dates it to approximately 1960.
No size marked - the size is quite open, due to the construction. My best guess is S M, however, I think it might work for a L, too, with less of a "swing" fit.
Brown and ivory tweed. I believe it is a wool mohair blend. It's fuzzy.
The fur is genuine fur - I don't know what kind. It is thick and silky soft - gorgeous.
Round collar edged with fur.
Single button at neck - open below.
Half sleeves with fur trim - meant to be worn with gloves.
Side seam pockets.
Lined with brown satin.
In excellent vintage condition, with no damage or excessive wear. The fur is also excellent. Clean and ready to wear.
