Stella Cherry Tree 1 Year Old, 6-10” Tall, Grafted On Prunus Avium.


The Stella cherry is a very sweet large variety that has been one of our favorites here at Ison’s. The fruit is very delicious and plump and a pleasure to your palate. Berries are bold red in color and ideal for fresh eating, freezing, canning and baking. These berries resist cracking. Stella also bears at a young age and is self-fertile. Ripen in mid July.


Fully mature cherry tree grow to about 18-25? tall and wide. Cherry trees make excellent shade trees as well as providing delicious fruit.
Trees are 4-5? with a 1/2? caliper
Zones 4-8 Chill Hours: 600-700
NOTE: Stella is a self-fertile but will produce more fruit when planting with a different sweet cherry variety.


Latin Name: Prunus avium Site and Soil: 1/2 day to full sun and well-drained soil. Rootstock Description: Colt is considered a semi-dwarf rootstock which produces trees about 80% of standard size. Colt is adapted to most soils and is hardy, vigorous, productive, and forms a well-branched tree.

For those states we will ship it as soon as the weather allows.


If the temperatures either in your area or in transit to you are too cold for us to safely ship out your order, we will reschedule it to ship as soon as we feel it's safe to do so. What we look for is a period of 4 consecutive days above freezing in your area as well as ours in order to avoid the plants freezing in transit.
