GUMPS Sterling Silver 925 Hinged Silver & Enamel Easter Egg Trinket Box Italy

A superb vintage Italian made 925 solid silver & enamel egg trinket box. Hallmarked - 925   ----  Stamped with Italian lozenge hallmark & star   ----  Made in Florence  ----  Makers number - 302 The box was made in Florence Italy in the late 1960s. The box is in the form of an egg which is the same size as a real egg. It is decorated with stunning blue enameling which is in Good Condition as it has been repaired, and has a crack in the enamel on one side. Also a couple of the tips of the enamel have broken off.....Small tips of the enamel (See Pictures) It also has been cleaned a little. The silver work is in the form of scrolling leaves with nice embossed detail. Inside the box the silver is in Good Condition. Has original latch on the front of the box which closes nice and tight. It has minor issues as its been in storage from previous owner.
