These are wonderful mementos of the Starue of Liberty Centennial Celebration that took place in New York City, NY in 1986. The specially designed lapel pins were given out at The Liberty Island Gift Center to participants of the event and have a card they are attached to to commemorate the event. The card says “It is certified and so declared that ______ is a participant in the Centennial Celebration of the Statue of Liberty 1886-1986.”

A wonderful and collectible piece of history - a gold toned pin with Lady Liberty draped in the American and French Flags- that you can wear on your lapel, hat, jacket or sweater to show people that you are a true patriot!
