The Toronto Marlies have announced that their bobblehead giveaway game on March 23 will feature 2018 Marlies Graduate, Garret Sparks.

On March 23, the first 5,000 fans in attendance at Coca-Cola Coliseum will receive an exclusive Garret Sparks bobblehead to kick off a Doubleheader Saturday. Marlies Doubleheader Saturdays are celebrations of hockey in Toronto where the Marlies play at home in the afternoon and the Maple Leafs play at home in the evening. In addition to the bobblehead giveaway, fans in attendance will have the opportunity to win great Marlies and Maple Leafs prizes, including tickets to Maple Leafs games.

Garret Sparks is one of 14 Marlies graduates on the Toronto Maple Leafs current roster (Connor Brown, Zach Hyman, Morgan Rielly, Jake Gardiner, Andreas Johnsson, William Nylander, Garret Sparks, Justin Holl, Martin Marincin, Nazem Kadri, Travis Dermott, Kasperi Kapanen, Frederik Gauthier, Trevor Moore). Sparks played parts of 6 seasons with the Marlies, leading the team to a Calder Cup in 2018 while also being awarded the Harry “Hap” Holmes Memorial Award (Lowest GAA) and Baz Bastien Memorial Award (Best Goaltender as voted by players and media). He currently owns the franchise records for Wins (80), and Shutouts (15), on Marlies all-time list with a record of 80-28-2-4 / .927 sv% / 2.12GAA as a Marlie.
