Magnolia grandiflora, also known as Southern Magnolia, and bull bay. Growing to over 40 feet tall these majestic trees have left me flabbergasted, staring straight up into one with my jaw dropped. The geometric patterns formed by the branches is so interesting and among this intricate lattice work hang proud and beautiful white blossoms.
