Hand Stitched Homestead Scrap Quilt

Approximately 5.5’ feet by 7.5’ feet

This is an absolutely amazing one of a kind quilt, with dozens of different scrap fabric stitched together with the most amazing patterns, the thread stitching actually becoming flowers and embellishments. Farm animals and plants are stitched throughout the quilt each piece is stitched in with a different stitch pattern and thread color. The corners are fashioned into sunrays ... as if they are beaming on the farmland that is the quilt. Unbelievably beautiful!

Overall excellent condition. A few areas of wear, a few blocks that have torn from age. A few stains from use. A well above average condition quilt for its age. Definitely ready to use or display.

A note on age. I do not know the age specifically. My best guess based on material is mid to late 19th century, 1850-1900
