Print is in excellent condition as displayed in photo gallery, with watermarks on the bottom of the matting, this does not affect the print at all as displayed in the photo gallery. Print is matted and framed. Frame is quite heavy and sturdy. Artwork is sealed in the frame with proper backing support.
Miharu Lane earned a bachelors degree in Fine Arts from East Stroudsburg University of Pennsylvania and an M.F.A. from Marywood University, PA. She has also studied at Virginia Commonwealth University, Maryland Institute College of Art, and California College of Arts and Crafts. Her work has been part of group exhibits at George Mason University in Fairfax, VA, Maryland Institute College of Art in Baltimore, MD, and at The Pennsylvania State University in University Park. Her collections are also exhibited in the Poster Collection at the Museum of Modern Art and in the Brooklyn Botanic Garden. Lane has been listed in Who's Who in America and Who's Who of American Women. She teaches art at East Stroudsburg University of Pennsylvania.
Miharu Lane. Lane (1948- ) hails from Japan and came to the US in 1958. She is an Associate Professor of Art at East Stroudsburg University of Pennsylvania, where she resides. She is an active artist who is both a painter and printmaker, continually exhibiting her work. Her work has been shown in multiple exhibitions up and down the eastern seaboard. Lane is very active in the Pennsylvania art education scene serving on many boards
