Deadhorse Aviation Center is wholly owned by Offshore Support Services, an Alaskan company founded in 1976 by Sherron Perry with an initial focus on providing aviation weather observation services to remote regions. Today, Fairweather provides a wide range of highly advanced remote services, including medical support; remote sensing and scientific surveys; meteorological and oceanographic forecasting; aviation and airstrip support; and navigation and expediting services. Fairweather's team includes licensed Health, Safety and Environment professionals and expertly trained bear guards.
