This item was purchased from a large business inventory reduction sale. I do not know the history of it. It is also labeled, "for 7/8" to 7/8" and 1/2" to 7/8" coaxial cable". The package has some shelf wear, but this unit is new. I have more than one of these and so the one you receive may not exactly match the pictures, but it will be in the same condition.
