the opal is approx 17x8mm 3.2-3.6Ct and is solid natural untreated Australian Lightning ridge black Opal - not doublet and not triplet not boulder but solid black opal. it has smooth polish on front and has no cracks no crazing. highly polished surface!. as with most opals the colors are stronger on the Sun and direct indoor light and not so in a dark/low light. the item as in new condition! length approx 15.5-16". total lenght of pendant approx 21mm and both marked for 18k gold and fully tested. comes together pendant and chain - as shown. You may change the chain to a longer one - it can be separated. the opal is high brightness - I never seen even more bright opal! it shows golden colors in one light and the greens in different. it changes colors like color change sapphire for example or alexandrite. it is rare! please see photos where it is gold and where it is green. and also you will notice mix of colors as you move it! but neon colors and strong high brightness! please see photos.
