Vintage hand crafted HOPI DANCER KACHINA DOLL, 10" Katsina, c1970s

Purchased at an estate sale out of Newark Ohio.  Marked "ALTON".  Most likely either Alton Honahni Sr or Alton Pashano.

This gorgeous kachina doll was hand carved out of top grade cottonwood and hand painted with dyes made from natural materials off the reservation. The colors are crisp and details precise.

A fabulous and highly collectible vintage Deer Dancer Kachina by Hopi carver.

Great shape as seen in pictures.  One very small chip on the back headress and he may be missing the top of his spear/staff.
