The Drain Pump Assembly is an OEM replacement part compatible with Frigidaire dishwashers. This assembly consists of a small electric motor and impeller. They are responsible for pumping the water out of the dishwasher and into the drain hose. This OEM replacement is also compatible with Electrolux, Gibson, Kelvinator, and Kenmore models.

When the dishwasher is in the drain cycle, the drain pump is activated, and the impeller rotates rapidly, creating a suction that pulls the water out of the dishwasher and into the drain hose.
