2 year old Cydonia Provence Quince plant, 16-20” plant

The plant you are buying is 2 year old. Shipping it with roots wrapped in wet media during dormancy (November-May), in container with soil June to September. It is recommended to keep it in the received container for the whole summer till it finishes growing. Re plant it to the permanent location only when plant goes dormant in October. Important not to disturb the roots during summer. Water it daily.

 Plant will be sent secured in the box. It has developed good root system and ready to be transplanted to the permanent location.

Quince is a member of the Cydonia family. Its botanical name is Cydonia oblonga.
Small fruit tree (Cydonia oblongata) in the rose family. The raw golden-yellow fruit has a strong fragrant aroma and astringent taste; it takes on a pink color when cooked and makes an excellent preserve.
Zones 5 to 8a
Blooms normally display as a color very similar to   Pale pink. Its fruits normally ripen as a color very similar to   Golden yellow.
A type of flowering edible fruit / ornamental, it mainly grows as a deciduous plant - which means that it sheds leaves annually.
Normally grows with a tree habit.
Uzbekistan is believed to be where Quince originates from.
