VTG Iroquois Casual Russel Wright Forest Green Stacking Creamer Sugar Set C1960s.

Wonderful, hard to find parsley color, stacking sugar and creamer, made by Russell Wright for Iroquois Casual line. This is a dark Forest green. It is in excellent, pre owned condition. The glaze is still quite shiny and any white spots on the photos are reflections from the room. There are no chips or cracks. Minimal wear. This Mid Century Modern pattern was manufactured from 1946 through the 1960s. Each piece should hold 3/4 to 1 cup.

Sugar Bowl Measurements: 2-1/8"H x4"W

Creamer Measurements: 2-1/2"H x5"W handle to spout

Of interesting note, the Casual line was made of high-fired vitreous china and was very durable… It was advertised as suitable for use in the oven and on the stovetop as well as on the table…The durability of these dishes is equally appreciated by collectors today. This dinnerware is not as likely to be found with chips, cracks or crazing as many other mid-century lines are prone to have.
