Blood Flower is also known as Indian root, or Swallow wort. Blooms summer to fall.
This is in the milkweed or silkweed family. This seems to be fairly uncommon.
Has evergreen foliage.

Plant in the fall for best germination, as some seeds need a period of moisture and cold after harvest before they will germinate.
